A Djiboutian high level delegation led by its president Ismael Omar Gelle has just landed in Aden Abdulle International Airport in Mogadishu.

President Ismael Omar Gelle was received at the airport by senior Somali Government officials and Djiboutian troops who are part of the African Union Peacekeeping Mission in Somalia.

The Djiboutian delegation and president will be attending the handing over ceremony where the newly elected Professor Hassan Sheikh Mahamoud will be officially crowned the new president of Somalia.

Several other delegates and world leaders are also in Mogadishu or are expected to arrive any time soon for the same purpose.
